Chicago Bulls Rumors: Possible trades to land Tobias Harris
By Ryan Heckman
The Chicago Bulls could include their youngest stud in a trade for Tobias Harris
This last deal is highly unlikely, but also very interesting. Bulls fans went from not knowing who Patrick Williams was and being somewhat confused by the pick at no. 4 overall last year, to now being in love with his game and looking forward to his future with Chicago.
If the Bulls wanted to keep LaVine, as well as Thaddeus Young, they could offer up a package like this.
Think about a lineup featuring whichever point guard the Bulls end up with, LaVine, Harris, Young and Vucevic. That is one heck of a starting five for the Bulls, even if that starting point guard doesn’t end up being someone like Lonzo Ball. Maybe the Bulls plug in a free agent like Derrick Rose, who would cost significantly less than signing Ball.
Including Patrick Williams and two first-round picks would be a hefty price to pay, but being able to put a lineup like that on the floor could end up equaling a deep run into the Eastern Conference postseason.
Not to say it’s a given that the Bulls will check in on Harris’ availability, but Karnisovas should absolutely do his homework and see what Philadelphia would want in a deal. Remember, this is a talented player, but Harris has yet to become an NBA All Star. Maybe his price ends up being a little less than one would think.
