Chicago Blackhawks: 3 absurd trade packages for Vladimir Tarasenko
The Chicago Blackhawks might have to send over four assets for a big player.
The 2021 NHL Draft is as much of a lottery as there has ever been. The COVID-19 pandemic along with lack of depth made it very hard to evaluate this year’s prospects. That is why it may be worth it to send a first and sixth-round pick away for a star player. Vladamir Tarasenko, when healthy, is a star player. The Hawks would love to add a sniper like that to their already desperate forward core.
Calvin De Haan and Riley Stillman are both defensemen at different stages of their careers. De Haan is the older veteran and Stillman is a young player trying to make his way in the league. If they went to the Blues right now and played well, St. Louis would have a defense capable of making a deep run in the playoffs. If they do in fact trade Tarasenko, they might look for this type of return from whoever.

As mentioned before, it is hard to see these two teams making a trade of this magnitude because of the rivalry and inter-division stuff but you just never know anymore. The Blackhawks are a bad team that is trying to be better quickly and a healthy Tarasenko might do that. Either way, it is going to be interesting to see how this all plays out for number 91.
