3. WR Allen Robinson

The biggest storyline all week has been the contract situation for Allen Robinson. While he’s voiced his frustration over not getting an extension, he’s also vowed that this will not impact his game and how he will continue to play on the field.

Simply due to the fact that he wants to continue to prove he’s worth every penny, I would expect a monster game from Robinson. He’s always been Mitch Trubisky’s favorite target, and proved it once again in Week 1 with a team-leading nine targets.

Speaking once again of Week 1, the Giants gave up a pair of touchdowns to Smith-Schuster. New York’s secondary may be one of the worst in the league, and if Smith-Schuster’s performance gives any indication of what Robinson could do on Sunday, he could be in for a lot of work.

With Trubisky’s job being heavily analyzed on the daily, Robinson is the number one guy he will want to get involved — early and often. To keep his starting gig intact, targeting Robinson 10 or more times is a must. It has to happen. Robinson continues to make bad quarterbacks look good throughout his career, and he’ll have all the opportunity he can get in Week 2
