Chicago Bulls 2020 NBA Mock Draft 2.0: Post-lottery edition
Timberwolves select G Anthony Edwards, Georgia
As much as there really isn’t a slam dunk first pick like there was with Zion Williamson last year, Georgia’s versatile guard Anthony Edwards is who I expect to be taken first in 2020.
In a recent interview, Edwards flaunted his talent as best in the class while going on to mention defense as one of the qualities that put him above Wiseman and Ball.
His scoring capabilities and athleticism are unquestionable, and at only 19 years of age, he is bound to get better.

During his lone season at the University of Georgia, Edwards averaged over 19 points and 5 rebounds per contest, including shooting over 50 percent on his 2-pointers. His jumper looks good, though he will have to work on his NBA range to be a more effective player.
He will also need to improve on his ability to limit turnovers, as on 91 assists last season, Edwards had 87 turnovers.
That’s gross.
He will most likely start off behind Malik Beasley in the T-Wolves rotation, provided that Beasley receives a contract extension on his rookie deal.
Edwards might grow to perhaps be the third guard in a three-guard lineup once he starts to show consistent ability to be on an NBA court.
Jarrett Culver was very unimpressive for most of last year, so hopefully, Edwards can come in and give a young Minnesota team a big jolt of energy and talent
