3. Stable playmaking on offense

Last season, there was only one consistently good playmaker on the Bears offense: Wide receiver Allen Robinson. Besides that, it was clear that Anthony Miller and Tarik Cohen didn’t make enough plays for the offense.

While Miller found his groove during the second half of the season, it was too little too late. He wouldn’t score a touchdown until week 14 and ended the season with just 52 receptions and 656 receiving yards. Cohen on the other hand, had just 4.7 yards per play, the lowest of his career.

While blaming Mitch Trubisky for the offense’s failures is one thing, keep in mind that his playmakers did him no favors either. If the Bears are going to make some serious noise in 2020, then playmakers besides Robinson need to do their job.

If Cohen and Miller, as well as various others can right the ship in 2020, the Bears offense has the potential to be one of the best in the NFL, which would mean that the offense would match what the defense brings to table, leading to a true Super Bowl contender.
