2. TE Jimmy Graham

One of the Bears many free-agent signings, the Bears brought in Jimmy Graham because of his familiarity with general manager Ryan Pace. While Graham was signed to a two-year deal worth $16 million dollars, the reality is that his deal is really worth one-year and six million dollars.

Graham was brought into to be a mentor for rookie tight end Cole Kmet, who the Bears selected with the 43rd overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft. Kmet is the future at the tight end position while Graham is here to help the offense in any way he can while also ensuring Kmet develops properly.

In 2021, the Bears can cut ties with Graham and save seven million dollars. This doesn’t seem like a lot of money considering if the Bears do cut him, they will still have three million dollars in dead money left over.

Graham is one of the oldest players on the Bears roster. Being 34 years old and on his fourth NFL team, it’s clear that with the Bears, he’s looking for one last chance at a Super Bowl and a chance to start and prove that he’s got more left in the tank than most think.
