Trade Two

The Chicago Bears haven’t been very good at drafting ever since Ryan Pace took over. He has had some nice hits in the later rounds but most of the first two rounds have been a disaster for him and his selections. For that reason alone, trading a second for Watt is a no brainer. There is a good chance that no matter what, Watt would serve more of a purpose on the Bears than whoever Ryan Pace was to draft with that said second-round pick.

Watt would not only add some good play to the Chicago Bears defense, but he would add a sense of excitement to the Bears organization. He is a huge name in the sports world and would be considered one of the more popular players in the NFL. Bringing him in might help with ticket and jersey sales because of his status in the NFL. He isn’t the player that he once was but he is still good enough to be worth wanting.

The Texans might also be okay with trading this second-round pick because of their recent trade history. They are now known as the team that makes bad trades because of the way that they handled Hopkins. Watt might even want to get out because of how much of a dumpster fire his team’s culture may have become. The Texans might also be willing to do this because of the fact that a second-round pick might be a nice compensation for a player who doesn’t want to be there anymore.
