Despite early optimism and an easy schedule, things haven’t gone as planned for the Chicago Bulls. Here are the team’s three biggest disappointments so far this season.

Through just over a quarter of the NBA season, the Chicago Bulls have underperformed in just about every facet of the game. It doesn’t help that the team is led by possibly the worst head coach in the NBA.

Through 21 games, including a much-needed 113-106 win over the Sacramento Kings on Monday night, the Bulls are a dismal 6-15. Despite the road win, the Bulls nearly blew a 19-point 3rd quarter lead to the Kings.

Kings guard Buddy Hield even admitted his squad overlooked the Bulls coming into the game saying the Kings, “Didn’t respect them”.

Not only have the Bulls lost multiple games to some of the worst teams in the NBA, but there’s also a clearly toxic relationship between the players and coach Jim Boylen. Most of that is on Boylan and his complete lack of accountability.

There are some issues with the Bulls roster, but it remains obvious that the problems involving this team’s front office and coach are hanging over the team. It’s an unneeded distraction.

I’ve beaten the “Fire GarPax” stuff to death, but is it wrong to think this season may finally be the breaking point for Bulls ownership? There are rumors swirling that GM Gar Forman is on the hot seat.

BIgger changes than just firing Forman are what this team needs, but this is at least a glimmer of hope during a dark start to this season. I was again optimistic about this team during the offseason, but it seems foolish in hindsight.

Despite some players to be optimistic about like rookie guard Coby White and center Wendell Carter Jr., There are more negatives that are hard to ignore. Here are the three biggest disappointments so far this Bulls season.
