1. Get after Aaron Rodgers

If there’s a player on the Packers that’s looking to prove people wrong in 2019, it’s Aaron Rodgers. After two consecutive injury-plagued seasons, it appears as if Rodgers is ready to come back healthy in 2019.

The reality of going up against Rodgers each week is that he makes it difficult to be truly confident. Where most are quick to crown the Bears winners in this game, Rodgers will do anything and everything he can in order to ensure that the Packers come out with a win.

The Bears need to slow Rodgers down by consistently getting after him. The Packers know what Khalil Mack can do for to an offense, however, the Bears will need players like Roquan Smith, Bilal Nichols, and Leonard Floyd to step up and get after Rodgers.

At 35-years old, Rodgers is ready to prove to the world that he can still play the game of football at a high level. However, the Packers haven’t had a winning record since 2016 and getting Green Bay back to relevancy is the only thing that is on Rodgers mind at the moment.

Last year, the Packers allowed 49 sacks and this offseason, the only notable addition that Green Bay made to the offensive line was Billy Turner, a veteran who’s heading into his seventh season in the NFL.  With Bryan Bulaga, David Bakhtiari, and Lane Taylor, and Corey Linsley expected to be healthy, each of these players will look to slow the Bears front seven down.

Bottomline is this: If the Bears can get to Rodgers early and also do so consistently throughout the rest of the game, then the Bears offense should have no problem doing their part and putting up points on the scoreboard.
