Terrence Ross — Unrestricted

I know we’re talking about the primary backup for LaVine, but can you imagine both he and Terrence Ross on the floor at the same time? These two have prime slam dunk contest experience — and not just experience, slam dunk titles.

More from Chicago Bulls

Imagine LaVine and Ross on a fast break together — whew, that would be fun.

I know these guys hate being known for just their athleticism alone, so don’t just assume that’s all Ross brings to the table. It’s not.

Ross does a little bit of everything. Without being a starter, he adds a ton of production for a competitive team — which I think the Bulls are on their way to becoming.

Last year, Ross posted career-highs in both points and rebounds per game (15.1 and 3.5, respectively). The fact that the Orlando Magic had a 15-point scorer coming off the bench shouldn’t go overlooked. That is an enormous luxury. That screams Sixth Man of the Year potential.

Ross is also a much better defender than LaVine, giving the Bulls what they so desperately need at this time.
