Jordan Brown, South Dakota State

Jordan Brown is flying so far under the radar that we had to use a photo of his school’s mascot, because we had none available of him. Don’t be fooled by the small school status, though, because Brown is a player.

Brown possesses a great combination of size, strength and athleticism. Physically, he’s gifted. At the NFL Combine, Brown ran a respectable 4.51 40-yard dash, coupled with a near-40-inch vertical jump.

Coming out of high school, he was a wide receiver. That means, as most would guess, Brown has excellent ball skills. Over his last two seasons with the Jackrabbits, Brown has accumulated six interceptions and a whopping 21 pass breakups.

At 6-foot, Brown has everything you look for at the corner position, physically. The thing which will take him to the next level, according to NFL.com analyst Lance Zierlein, is playing stronger against receivers his size. He has the height and strength to do it, but at times doesn’t put it to use. If he can use his physical gifts to his advantage, Brown has a chance to become a valuable backup, if not a starter.

At the moment, Brown projects anywhere from the third to seventh round, depending on which outlet you trust most.
