A roster built to compete?

So, let’s say the Blackhawks manage to make most of these moves happen. After all, I’m living in a fantasy world at the moment — hopefully Bowman is reading.

Hey, one can hope, right?

The Hawks certainly have a lot to do this offseason if they are looking to compete again as soon as 2018-2019. As fans, we all are anticipating Bowman and his front office folks can be as active as possible in making the necessary changes. This fan base has grown accustomed to winning, so we will not be satisfied with another year of mediocrity.

Going back to what I said earlier, let’s say the Hawks manage to make a few of these moves happen. What would the roster look like? Here is a snapshot overview:

Line 1- Saad-Teows- DeBrincat

Line 2-Van Riemsdyk-Schmaltz-Kane

Line 3-Hinnistroza-Brodziak-Sikura

Line 4-Kahun-Ejdsell-Hayden

D1-Kieth-Faulk

D2-Forsling-Murphy

D3-Jokiharju-Seabrook

Goalie-Crawford-Ward

I believe this roster can compete in the West. Heck, with some tinkering at the trade deadline and a little luck, maybe this Blackhawks team would compete for a Stanley Cup. That’s the only goal now, in Chicago, and fans will not settle for anything less!
