Chicago Bulls: 5 teams who could pry away Zach LaVine
By Ryan Heckman
Los Angeles Clippers
Quite frankly, the Los Angeles Clippers need some serious help. They lost longtime fan favorite point guard Chris Paul to the Houston Rockets last year. They traded away Blake Griffin once it seemed he would never return to form. Now, they risk losing veteran big man DeAndre Jordan via free agency as well.

Doc Rivers might even see his own son leave the Clippers, but that’s a conversation for another time. Aside from Austin Rivers and Jordan possibly leaving, the Clippers also have backup point guard Milos Teodosic to worry about. They have tons of decisions to make this summer — as do their own free agents themselves.
LaVine obviously has ties to Los Angeles, having played for UCLA in college. The Clippers will enter the free agency period with an estimated $29.2 million to spend, via Basketball Insiders. That number would be more than enough to work out a decent chunk of change thrown LaVine’s way.
Seeing as how the Clippers need some sort of face to their franchise at the moment, LaVine wouldn’t be a bad play for them. Also, it’s worth noting that Kawhi Leonard wants to sign with a Los Angeles team in the summer of 2019, per ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski and Ramona Shelburne. If the Clippers can see a future with LaVine and Leonard, that’s not doing too bad in terms of a rebuild.
