10. Point Guard Collin Sexton, Alabama

Alabama point guard Collin Sexton would be quite the interesting choice at no. 7 overall. The Bulls would have to really like what they see in Sexton to make him that high of a draft pick. The intriguing part of that pick, if it were to happen, is that Sexton should remind the Bulls a lot of the guy they’re currently “unhappy” with: Kris Dunn.

More from Chicago Bulls

Like Dunn, Sexton is an athletic and aggressive defender. Both of them are solid on that end, but Dunn was a better scorer in college. Could Sexton be a legitimate scoring point guard as a pro? I just don’t see it. While he averaged almost 20 points per game last year, that was primarily because he was the only option.

Sexton only posted 3.6 assists per game last year, and again that could have been due to the lack of help he had with the Tide. But, it is hard for me to believe there weren’t more than three or four easy buckets to be created per game, by Sexton.

I mentioned I don’t think he could be an elite scorer in the NBA, but Sexton could definitely translate parts of his game well. He’s very good at getting into the paint and finishing at the rim. His shot is a bit spotty at times, but he is best when he’s attacking.
