With the 2018 NFL Draft behind them, the Chicago Bears will focus on the upcoming season. However, we took an early look ahead to what 2019 might bring.

The Chicago Bears were the darlings of the 2018 NFL Draft. Most pundits declared them to have one of, if not the best draft of all thirty-two teams.

In addition to snagging quality players at great value, they addressed a few critical needs. They solidified their interior offensive line with James Daniels and added a dynamic wide receiver in Anthony Miller. While Roquan Smith didn’t necessarily fill a position of dire need, he was too talented to pass up.

If you are like us, you simply love football. You can’t get enough of it. If it’s not the Bears, typically you turn to college football, right? But, outside of your favorite college team (maybe Notre Dame or Illinois), what teams or players does a Bears fan watch?

That’s where we come in.

Two areas the Bears failed to address in a major way in this year’s draft were outside linebacker (edge rusher) and cornerback. No one knows what the future will bring, especially in free agency. But assuming those are still positions of need next year, we take a look at three players Bears fans should keep an eye on this college football season. They could easily end up being targets of the Bears in the 2019 NFL Draft.
