Chicago Bears: Bold predictions for 2018 rookie class
By Ryan Heckman

Finding an impact rookie is sometimes harder than it looks, but the Chicago Bears appear to have a fantastic 2018 class as a whole.
The Chicago Bears and their fans have a lot of expectations for each and every one of their 2018 draft selections.
Expectations are a funny thing, especially when it comes to the NFL Draft. On one hand, you can have every expert in America saying one thing about a certain player. Then, that player goes and proves every single one of them wrong; sometimes for the better, other times for worse.
A year ago, Tarik Cohen was too small and faced lesser competition. Eddie Jackson was coming off a nasty broken leg and would probably never fully recover to be the same player.
Two years ago, Jordan Howard was a one-speed runner, failed to make the right cuts and had balance issues.
We all know how those stories have unfolded. Many of the predictions were far from accurate. Thankfully, these guys are not only late-round steals but stars in the making for the Bears. What could the 2018 rookie crop do to top the past couple of hauls?
I go into each pick made by the Bears and give one bold prediction for their 2018 rookie campaigns. Some of them might be a long shot, but I believe with the coaching staff in place and the culture being set, none of them are impossible.
