Like Ariza, Avery Bradley is a guy who feels like he’s been around forever. The crazy thing, though, is that he’s only 27 years old. I know — I would have taken a shot in the dark and said over 30 for sure.
Bradley would be a fantastic add, assuming one of two things: LaVine could slide over to the three or Bradley was OK coming off the bench. Either way, Bradley is a guy I would love to see on the Bulls.
Remember the rumors swirling around Jimmy Butler to the Boston Celtics a few years back? Who was one of the pieces in that deal? Yep, you guessed it — Bradley. Why was he the main piece in that deal? Easy — defense.
Bradley has been one of the best perimeter defenders in the game since he entered the league back in 2010. Perfect example:
The former first-rounder has made a living off playing elite defense and knocking down three-pointers. Do you notice a theme on this list? It’s pretty obvious by now that these guys, for the most part, can do two things well — and it doesn’t stop with Bradley.
