Chicago Bears Draft: 3 ways Ryan Pace can nail first round
By Ryan Heckman
The way things could shake out, the Buffalo Bills may end up being a perfectly sneaky trade partner.
Let’s say the rumors are true about Josh Rosen. His stock appears to be falling and he very well could slip to being the fourth quarterback taken in the first round. If the Buffalo Bills know this and believe they could trade up to no. 8 and snag him without giving up future picks or more than just their two first-rounders, I’d say that’s a fair deal for both sides.
Lately, the Bears are not mentioned among the teams the Bills could trade with, because it’s assumed Buffalo will need to trade into the top six in order to get their franchise quarterback. However, lately the talk has been about Rosen falling.
If the Bills don’t want to risk waiting too long after seeing Rosen fall a bit, they could choose to execute a deal with Chicago.
Pace would likely get their no. 12 selection in the first round, along with the no. 22 overall pick. If the Bears moved back to 12, they would probably still be able to land one of the following: Tremaine Edmunds, Harold Landry or Vita Vea. Pairing one of those three with another first-round talent at 22 would be fantastic.

Two first-round picks? I like the sound of that, especially because one of them is still inside the top-15.
Pace has the opportunity to execute a flawless first round, regardless of who ends up being on the board at no. 8. He has shown he is not afraid to make moves in the past, and we could end up seeing yet another one on Thursday night.
