Anthony Miller has almost everything you need to be a successful wide receiver in the NFL. When it comes to the Bears, I’m not so sure if he will fit or not. The one thing you can say about him, without a doubt, is that he is as fiery of a competitor as you will find in college football.
The guy was a walk-on and is now coming off a season in which saw him catch nearly 100 passes for 18 touchdowns. That’s impressive.
Miller flew into Chicago on Friday, becoming the most recent receiver to meet with the Bears.
While most scouts think he could be a great addition to any offense and fit in more as a WR3, the Bears are in need of a solid WR2. Could Miller become that kind of player?
He definitely has the work ethic to do so. Miller makes it his mission to ensure he beats the guy in front of him on every single down. He is a stellar route-runner and uses many different techniques to get open.
Although he is under 6-feet tall, Miller still goes up and gets the tough passes. He possesses solid body control when adjusting to tougher balls thrown his way.

The one thing people harp on him for has to be his catchable passes that get dropped. He’s all for making the highlight-reel play, but at times can get caught up in his head on the easiest of catches. Miller is projected as a third round pick, give or take a few picks. If Chicago ends up with a third-rounder on draft day, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see them go after someone of Miller’s caliber.
