Chicago Bears: Complete 7-round mock draft 2.0
By Ryan Heckman
We put our heads together here at Da Windy City and now introduce to you our Chicago Bears 2018 mock draft 2.0.
Now under three weeks away from the start of the 2018 NFL Draft, the Chicago Bears have not left fans disappointed in their offseason festivities. We have seen a whole lot of talent come to the windy city while the Bears continue to revamp the entire organization from the coaching staff to the roster.
New head coach Matt Nagy has breathed a breath of fresh air into Halas Hall, and players are responding well. They are ready to go to work and play for a passionate, excited and dedicated coach — something we haven’t seen out of a Bears head coach in a while.
Now, it’s up to Ryan Pace to continue the upward tick in the upcoming draft. The Bears have seven picks overall, lacking one in the third and doubling up in the fourth. With the talent pool chock full of some great players who would fit well in what Chicago is doing schematically, we have updated our mock draft to fit the momentum shifts in player stock.
Knowing well that the Bears have a couple of glaring needs at linebacker and offensive line, the Bears will likely address both of them early on. The question, though, is which players will they select to fill those holes and in what rounds?
Fans seem to be split between a few players, specifically at the no. 8 spot. We do our best to make the entirety of the Bears’ draft make as much sense as possible. Enjoy.
