Ryan Pace gave Chicago Bears fans one of the more memorable free agency periods in the last several years. What grades does he receive for each move?

My goodness, how a year can change things. Am I right? A year ago, we were sitting here wondering why Ryan Pace gave Mike Glennon all that money and appeared content with him being the Chicago Bears starting quarterback.

We all questioned and complained as to why Pace was not able to reel in any of the bigger names in free agency 2017 and, quite honestly, things looked bleak. Then, the 2017 NFL Draft came and that’s when this shift in momentum began.

Drafting Mitchell Trubisky and ultimately securing a solid crop of rookies overall was the initial step toward a brighter future. Pace ultimately saw Trubisky take the field after just a month into the seasons and, as I said, you could see things beginning to change.

Fast forward to free agency of 2018, and Pace has done a very good job with the facelift upon this roster. Having made several moves by addition and subtraction, Pace has put his franchise in a much better position than they were in just a short 12 months ago.

When all is said and done, how will these signings impact the Bears right away? Will the losses come back to bite them? I dive into grading each move made by Pace and the Bears this past month and hopefully you come away feeling even more thrilled than you were before.
