1. WR Albert Wilson

I think we all understand at this point that Albert Wilson has all but signed with the Bears. Many rumors have been prevalent about Wilson being connected to Chicago, mainly because of the Nagy connection.

Wilson has been a sneaky good wide receiver for a couple of years now. He just hasn’t gotten the press he deserves because Kansas City boasts so many weapons on offense with guys like Tyreek Hill, Travis Kelce and of course last year’s breakout rookie Kareem Hunt.

As I have said before, the Bears need to start by getting someone at the position that can simply catch the football. Whether that’s Jarvis Landry, Wilson or someone else, it doesn’t matter at this point. Fans are sick of seeing dropped passes and guys that lack the ability to create separation.

Beating out teammates like Hill and Kelce for the team-lead in highest catch rate is a pretty phenomenal feat — especially considering where the Chiefs’ offense ranked last year (5th overall).

Wilson likely won’t command top receiver money, giving the Bears the ability to go out and sign another top wideout to pair with him. Not to beat a dead horse, but Wilson would obviously be an asset to the offensive group in learning the playbook and tendencies of their new head coach.

Wilson has spent his whole career playing for Nagy. The fifth-year pro broke out last year with 42 receptions for 554 yards and three scores.

Imagine this: Wilson on the field with Allen Robinson, Jordan Howard in the backfield and Tarik Cohen in the slot. Trickery would absolutely ensue. I know it’s just dreaming at this point, but the Bears are just days away from potentially making this a reality.

It all starts at the top with Nagy’s leadership and his ability to lure free agents to Chicago alongside Pace. Will Wilson be one of those guys? I’d say it’s very likely.
