Now that the NFL Combine is officially over, let’s look at a few more intriguing players the Chicago Bears could target in the second round of the 2018 NFL Draft.

The NFL Combine is officially over, and the 2018 NFL Draft is a month and a half away. NFL free agency begins in about a week. The deadline for franchise tagging players comes today (3 p.m. ET). Rev your engines, Chicago Bears fans: things are about to get fun.

In particular, with the NFL Combine in the books, let the speculation ramp up as to whom the Bears will select in April’s draft.

As you’ll see in the first slide, I know what I’d prefer them to do at the No. 8 pick in the draft. And, for good reason, that tends to be the pick everyone focuses on most heavily.

But, as with every year, some really good football players who can start right away will slip into the second round of the draft.

And with the Bears sitting at pick No. 39 (seventh pick in second round), they’ll have a chance to draft one of them, assuming they don’t trade back to acquire more picks.

Yesterday, we took an early look at some interesting second-round pick candidates before the Combine officially ended.

Now that the defensive backs have done their stuff, let’s add a few to the mix, shall we?
