Late comeback attempt falls short as Chicago Bulls lose to the Golden State Warriors
A late fourth quarter surge wasn’t enough as the Bulls fell to the Warriors 119-112 on Wednesday night.
The Bulls started strong and finished strong, but didn’t do much in-between as they fell to the leagues top team in a game filled with offense.
The Bulls made a huge statement in the first quarter, closing the opening frame on a 12-0 run to take a 40-38 lead on a David Nwaba dunk right before the horn.

Golden State’s Steph Curry put up 30 points, 14 of which came in the first quarter. The Warriors came out of the box slow in part due to the absence of star forward Draymond Green.
The hole left by Green was made even deeper when infamous rookie Jordan Bell went down on the first possession of the game after he was brutally dunked on by Robin Lopez. Bell was wheeled off in a wheel chair and did not return.
