Chicago Bears Week 13 MVP: Tarik Cohen
The Bears fell to 3-9 after a lackluster effort against the San Francisco 49ers. Despite the offense putting up just 14 points, one Bear in particular stood out on sunday.
Ok, this one wasn’t pretty.
If you’re looking for something from this one, Mitchell Trubisky didn’t turn the ball over. Top target Dontrelle Inman notched a touchdown grab.
But it’s only fitting that former Bears kicker Robbie Gould single-handedly outscored the Bears with five field goals including a game-winner with 4 seconds remaining.

If you’re looking for a play to sum up the Bears season (or last few seasons perhaps) this would be a good one.
However, if you’re looking for a play to remember from this game, Gould’s kick probably wouldn’t make the cut.
It’s been a roller coaster of a season for Tarik Cohen. The rookie went from a breakout debut in week one against the Falcons to a staggering one target in a loss to the Packers a few months later.
Today was a huge step in the right direction. Cohen totaled just five yards on two carries, but picked up 39 receiving yards on four catches.
Those numbers don’t jump off the screen, but Cohen still led the Bears in receiving yards on the afternoon. Cohen’s big play ability was on full display on sunday, especially here:
Unbelievable.
Cohen turned a near 30-yard loss into a touchdown. Call it play of the year for the Bears, and a serious contender for overall play of the year.

Plays like this is what Bears can look forward too in the coming years. Cohen continues to impress all over the place, and should make a big impact in coming years.
