Chicago Bears vs. Green Bay Packers: Five players to watch
1. Mike Glennon
What? Chicago Bears fans will have their eyes on someone else more than the hated Rodgers?
Well, if there’s someone else that Bears nation is arguably more fed up with at the moment than the Packers great, it’s got to be Glennon. And given how sad it’s been to watch him play football thus far, can you blame everyone?
Sunday’s win may have, if possible, made people lose confidence in the veteran signal caller. Given an offensive plan that essentially kept Glennon as far away from screwing things up, he posted an absolutely anemic 101 yards passing on 15-22 attempts.
And he still almost gave the game away with another untimely interception and just missed throwing a second.
But apparently, the Bears will live with that as long as he gives them “a chance to win”. And in the meantime, John Fox, Dowell Loggains and their merry troupe of fools continue to dance around the obvious, trying to sell everyone on the idea that Glennon’s not that bad.
Yes, I get it. You can’t throw your players under the bus every week, especially your own starting quarterback. But less bald-faced patronization of a loyal fan base would be nice.

Whatever. At some point, self-preservation will take over as the Bears find themselves unable to replicate last week’s stunning performance. Another dud from Glennon and a thorough waxing from Rodgers and Co. could shatter the Bears’ idyllic dreams once and for all.
