Jaylen Smith (Wide Reciever), Louisville

One of the rising stars of the upcoming draft, Jaylen Smith is Lamar Jacksons top target. With a combined 300 yards in the first two games, Smith already has half as many yards as he did last season. Jaylen Smith could be the highest riser when it comes to draft stock.

While Lamar Jackson makes a big impact in both the passing and running game, other players will need to contribute in order for the Cardinals to beat Clemson. As Jackson’s top target, Smith will have many opportunities to make an impact on Saturday night.

If Louisville can control the pace of play with long throws down the field and tire out the Clemson secondary, the Cardinals should experience great success on offense. Smith is one of the top players on the deep ball and will need to have the same impact on Saturday.

The Bears have one of the thinnest receiving cores in the league and could draft a receiver if the defensive needs are solved another way. With Kevin White and Cameron Meredith out for the season, the Bears are in dire need of an impact receiver for the future.

Smith is certainly off to a great start this season but needs to stay consistent and let his success carry over throughout the season. If Smiths breakout season lasts all year, he will certainly be one of the top prospects in that area come the spring. With Smith on the rise and the Bears in big need of a receiver, the Bears and Smith could be the perfect match.
