Chicago Bears preseason schedule: Who and when do the Bears play?
The complete Chicago Bears 2017 preseason schedule.
The Chicago Bears do not expect to be competitive in 2017. Sure, they made a lot of changes to their 3-13 2016 squad, but most of them were made with the long-term in mind. If you squint hard enough, there is a bright future on this roster. However, that is not going to be in 2017.
The single most important thing for the 2017 Bears is player progression. They need their important young players to take a step forward in 2017 as general manager Ryan Pace and company build the roster for 2018 and beyond. Obviously, the regular season will be important for this, but do not discount the preseason games.
The preseason is where unheralded players can first make their mark. The Bears should be looking high and low for players who can help them down the line. For a rebuilding team like the Chicago Bears, preseason games are more interesting than for the rest of the league. We know that the Bears are building for the future and perhaps more of that future will be on the field in the preseason than in the regular season.

Look no further than the quarterback position. Mike Glennon is going to be the Bears’ starting quarterback in 2017. We will see plenty of him in the regular season. However, Mitch Trubisky is the future at the position for the team. We will likely see more of Trubisky in the preseason than we will when the games count in 2017.
Let’s take a look at the Bears entire preseason slate of games.
Chicago Bears 2017 preseason schedule

Week 3 of the preseason where is we typically see most of the action. Starters will likely play at least half of that Sunday afternoon game against the Tennessee Titans.
