Chicago Bulls: Derrick Rose rumors do not make any sense

Derrick Rose coming back to the Chicago Bulls would not make any sense at all.

Wait a second? Am I reading this correctly? A report from USA Today’s Sam Amick indicates that Derrick Rose is considering returning to the Chicago Bulls? You have got to be kidding me. The report also noted that the Bulls have spoken to Rose’s agent and that they are in the mix to sign him. It seems like a lot of Bulls fans have mixed reactions to this report.

In 2008, The Chicago Bulls drafted Rose with the number one overall pick. Bulls fans immediately fell in love with the dynamic point guard. In 2011, Derrick became the youngest MVP in NBA history. Since then, Rose’s career has gone downhill due to injuries. He played seven seasons for the Bulls before the organization decided to trade him to the Knicks in 2016. My best guess is that the interest in returning to Chicago is coming from Derrick Rose’s camp.

The Bulls are currently in a rebuilding phase. Am I missing something here? This does not make sense at all. I like Derrick Rose, but no way do I want to see him play for the Bulls again. I just don’t get it. Why is this talk even happening? Does the Bulls management know what they are doing? Last time I checked the Bulls are still rebuilding. This is the latest example of the management having no clue what they are doing.

The Bulls are trying to tank, but Rose is trying to win. Again I just don’t get it. I would be shocked if the Bulls actually sign Rose. It’s not a good fit. On the other hand I’m not surprised that this report is out there. I’ll continue to say this, The Bulls have no clue what they are doing. They said they picked a direction by going rebuild when they traded Jimmy Butler, but do they really know which direction they are heading?

This Derrick Rose rumor is just nonsense to me. Rose coming back to the Bulls is extremely unlikely. The Bulls shouldn’t even discuss bringing Derrick back, but hey with this organization you just never know. If Rose wants to win then he should go play somewhere else because the Chicago Bulls are not winning anytime soon.
