The Chicago Bulls need to go after the number one pick in the 2018 NBA Draft. Will they pile up enough losses?

How many games will the Chicago Bulls win next season? The Bulls over/under for wins in the 2017-18 season is set at 29.5. Welcome to the rebuild. Only the Phoenix Suns and Brooklyn Nets are projected to win fewer games than the Bulls.

Winning 29 games is too many for this team. Personally, I have the Bulls winning 15-20 games this season. The Bulls should have one goal this upcoming season and that is to get the number one pick in the 2018 NBA Draft. Shame on the Bulls if they don’t.

I understand the players never try to lose games, but the players need to understand that this team is not contending for a championship anytime soon and the main goal is to get a high draft pick. I think the Bulls have the worst roster in the NBA and that’s why I have them winning around 15 games.

Ugly NBA roster

You look at the roster and you just don’t know who is gonna lead this team in scoring. The point guard position is a big question on this team. You have Cameron Payne who might be the worst player in the NBA. I still don’t understand why he is even on the roster. You have Kris Dunn who I’m not convinced can be a good player in this league.

You also have Denzel Valentine who struggled in Summer League and just doesn’t look right to me. He is playing with no confidence right now. Bulls rookie Lauri Markkanen didn’t impress me at all in Summer league play. He doesn’t look strong and will have a hard time defending big guys.

The Bulls front office continues to draft the safe guys and not gamble on players. I understand that this roster is not very good and the Bulls will probably have a high draft pick in the 2018 draft but you at least want to see players developing and so far that hasn’t happened.

Most of the fanbase was happy that the management finally picked a direction in going for a rebuild. Yes, they finally picked a direction. But why on earth should we trust John Paxson and Gar Forman to do this well? The next couple of years

The next couple of years is going to be tough for Bulls fans. There are more questions on this team than answers. This team is going to be bad for a long time. Welcome to the rebuild.
