Chicago Bears: Possible 2018 NFL Draft First-Round Targets
Brandon Facyson, CB, Virginia Tech
Cornerback is probably the biggest current “need” on the Chicago Bears’ roster. They are not exactly loaded with talent at the position and were not able to address in the 2017 NFL Draft. Unless we see some unexpected progression from some young players at the position, expect cornerback to be an obvious target for the team next year.
Brandon Facyson is a talented cornerback prospect who would appear to make sense specifically for the Chicago Bears. Facyson is listed at 6-foot-2, 197 pounds. He is a big and long cornerback who shows the ability to fight at the line of scrimmage. He is a tough cornerback who will redirect the routes of opposing receivers.
Vic Fangio loves big corners who will get tough at the line of scrimmage. Facyson has the size and length and is also willing to get tough. On top of that, he shows great natural athleticism and above-average speed for the position.

Facyson has a chance to put himself in the top 15 conversation next season. He is an extremely talented player who plays an important position on the defensive side of the field. I expect cornerback to continue to be a need for the Bears and Facyson would be a guy who would make a ton of sense.
