Grading each selection by the Chicago Bears in the 2017 NFL Draft.

The Chicago Bears were one of the big stories of the first round of the 2017 NFL Draft. General manager Ryan Pace directly targeted his quarterback and made sure that he could get Mitch Trubisky by trading up to the second overall pick.

The trade with the San Francisco 49ers may have been ill-advised but the Bears now undoubtedly have their quarterback of the future. The success of the Bears’ 2017 NFL Draft class will ultimately come down to Trubisky.

From the moment Pace traded up and made him the second overall selection of the 2017 NFL Draft, Trubisky became the important player on the Chicago Bears roster. If he busts, Pace and head coach John Fox likely lose their jobs and the Bears start another long rebuilding process. If he hits, the Bears could quickly be on their way to becoming legitimate contenders in the NFC.

While certainly, the most important, Trubisky was not the only player who the Chicago Bears added to the mix over the weekend. They were able to add five total players in the first five rounds who should be able to drastically help them in 2017 and beyond.

Here are the grades for each selection made by the Chicago Bears in the 2017 NFL Draft.
