Chicago Blackhawks vs Arizona Coyotes: Complete Game Preview
The Chicago Blackhawks face off against bottom dweller Arizona tonight at the United Center. Can the Hawks keep up their winning ways and gain two points in the standings?
Coming off of a huge win Tuesday night in Minnesota, the Chicago Blackhawks head back home to the United Center to battle the Arizona Coyotes on Thursday night. The Blackhawks are coming off a game which saw team captain Johnathan Toews record three goals and two assists. To say Toews put a team on his back is an under statement.

Arizona enters tonight’s game coming off a big 3-2 victory against the Anaheim Ducks. The Coyotes haven’t played the best hockey this season and Hawk fans should be expecting a win tonight. However, anything can happen when the puck drops.

For Chicago to leave tonight with a win I believe they are going to need some other players besides the Toews line (Toews,Panik,Schmaltz) to step up tonight. Artemi Panarin has not been skating well as of late and just hasn’t looked himself out there.
Tonight’s matchup would be a perfect fit for him to get on the scoreboard, whether that be finding the back of the net himself or setting up Patrick Kane with a goal or two. I also would like to see Marian Hossa get involved in the action tonight and come through for the Hawks.
My prediction for tonight’s game is a 4-2 win for the Chicago Blackhawks. I feel like the talent and depth of Chicago is going to be too much for the Coyotes to handle.
Three Stars Prediction
- Artemi Panarin- 2 goals
- Marian Hossa- 1 goal 1 assist
- Corey Crawford- 33 saves
Tonight’s game is at 7:30 p.m. CT and can be seen on NBCSN and CSN Chicago.
