November: Yes, they did it!

After all the grueling games, all the injuries, all the losses and all the sleepless nights, the Chicago Cubs are the World Series Champs!

Yes, the Cubs’ season in November only lasted two days, but they were undefeated, and they won the title. The Cubs ended their 108-year title drought, and they sent their fans into delirium.

This World Series was one of the best in history. That is not because the Cubs won it, but it truly was. The Cubs fell into a 3-1 deficit and had to play for their title lives. They came back to tie the series at three.

In a Game 7 for the ages, the Cubs came out smoking. They ran out to a 5-1 lead, and Cubs Nation was pumped. The Cleveland Indians did not go down without a fight, though. They came back to tie the game in the eighth inning when Rajai Davis hit a two-run home run off of Aroldis Chapman.

Cubs Nation was deflated.

The game went into the tenth. Then the rain came. Of course, the game was delayed. The Cubs regrouped in the training room and came out hot again. They scored two runs in the inning and held the pesky Indians to just one, and suddenly all the suffering of the past 108 years went away.
