Five New Year’s resolutions the Chicago Bears must make for 2017

As the season draws to a merciful end and we head into a new year, we present a list of New Year’s resolutions the Chicago Bears should make to get back to winning.

Well, this season finally ends when the final whistle blows on Sunday. The 2016 season was a disaster for the Chicago Bears from training camp and throughout the regular season.

Sure, injuries are at least partly to blame for the Bears’ woes. They placed an incredible NINETEEN players on injured reserve. That put a lot of pressure on backups and rookies who did not expect to be getting the playing time they received.

There were some questionable coaching calls made that honestly cost the Bears victories as well. The coaching staff needs to put the players in position to be successful, and that did not happen at times in Chicago.

Of course, with that, the players need to make plays when they are on the field. Too many times missed tackles resulted in big plays, or missed blocks resulted in busted plays.

The Bears now head into maybe one of the most critical offseasons in franchise history. They are at a crossroad. They can either make the moves to get back to winning, or they can head down the path of irrelevancy.
