Taylor Decker, Tackle (6-foot-7, 320 pounds) — Ohio State

When scouts think of an offensive lineman, the image they most likely get is one of Taylor Decker.

Decker is tall, has a good frame, and has strong hands. He can catch rushers and keep them at bay with his long arms.

Decker has the power to open holes in the running game. The Chicago Bears running backs would love to have him blowing things up for them.

Being so tall, Decker sometimes tends to lose his leverage and go too high on blocks. He sometimes tends to take bad angles on blocks.

Decker has started every game in the past three seasons for the Buckeyes. With him anchoring the line, Ohio State led the Power 5 conferences in rushing average (6.1 yards per game), and led the nation in rushing yards per game (273).

Decker was named to the All Big Ten First Team and was named the Big Ten Offensive Lineman of the Year.

Decker is graded out to be a first or second round pick. He would be a value pick if he is available to the Bears in the second round. He would be the tough, athletic lineman who would be an essential part of the line for many years.
