Round 6, Pick 183
Jordan: Derrick Lott, DT, Chattanooga
Carlos: Durell Eskridge, S, Syracuse
Dhruv: Jeremy Langford, RB, Michigan State
With the final pick for the Bears in the 2015 NFL Draft, we have a variety of choices. Jordan goes for help on the defensive line. I decide to go with safety help, while Dhruv looks for a replacement for Forte.
Jordan: “The Bears need bodies on the defensive line. Lott has the potential to work as both a defensive tackle and defensive end. Versatility is crucial in the closing rounds of the 2015 NFL Draft.”
Carlos: “Eskridge has a second to third round talent. He probably needed another year of experience, but he had a financial hardship and he had to turn professional. Eskridge knows what it is to work hard for what you want, having been homeless. If he takes that work ethic to the NFL, he will have a good career.”
Dhruv: “Solid all-around running back capable of coming in and competing with Jacquizz Rodgers and Ka’Deem Carey to back up Matt Forte.”
It is important to note that among the three of us, we believe the Bears will or should make a trade at some point of the draft. There are a lot of players in rounds two through four who would be excellent picks for the Bears. Expect a trade at some point this weekend.
So there are our final picks. What do you think? What other players would you want the Bears to draft? Let us know. Drop us a line.
