Chicago Bears 2015 Mock Draft: The final mock

Round 5, Pick 142
Jordan: Doran Grant, CB, Ohio State
Carlos: Rob Havenstein, OL, Wisconsin
Dhruv: Sean Mannion, QB, Oregon State
Dhruv and I go with offense here, while Jordan goes defense. Tim Jennings had a rough 2014, and even before Charles Tillman‘s injury, he was going to shift to nickel for rookie Kyle Fuller. This could be the case again.
Cutler will need some protection, and Matt Forte will need some holes opened. The Bears may decide to move Kyle Long over to tackle, and if they do, they need his replacement at guard.
We all have eyes on Cutler’s replacement, and drafting a quarterback this year, may help in the adjustment to Cutler’s eventual departure from Chicago.
Jordan: “Grant projects as a third round selection by some, so if he is available in the fifth round, the Bears would be getting an absolute steal. Grant’s athletic ability gives him a chance to be a starter.”
Carlos: “Havenstein is a hulk of a man who can blow open some holes. He also possesses better feet than you might expect. He can play right tackle, but if the plan is to move Long over, he could be an effective guard.”
Dhruv: “Underrated quarterback who was looked at as a second round pick last year before he returned to school and turned in an average year. Big frame, pro style offense experience. A worthwhile risk.”
