With the seventh overall selection in the fourth round of the 2015 NFL Draft, the Chicago Bears select wide receiver Tyler Lockett, Kansas State.
Whether or not Brandon Marshall is back with the Chicago Bears in 2015, there is no hiding the fact that the Bears are thin at the wide receiver position.
Behind Marshall, Alshon Jeffery and Marquess Wilson, there is a whole bunch of nothing.

The Bears need to add at least two wide receivers this off-season and one of those additions will likely come through the 2015 NFL Draft. The Bears do not need another lengthy wide receiver, instead the Bears need a speedy receiver that is capable of taking the top off opposing defenses as well as creating openings for Marshall and Jeffery.
That wide receiver for the Bears could be Kansas State wide receiver Tyler Lockett.
Simply put, Lockett is a burner.
Lockett topped all wide receivers at the NFL Scouting Combine with 4.40-40-yard dash, 4.07-20-yard shuttle, and an 11.14-60-yard shuttle. Lockett has the capability of making explosive plays as both a wide receicer and a kick returner.
In the fourth round, Lockett is an excellent selection for a Bears’ team that is in desperate need of speed at the wide receiver position.
