Despite missing 14 of his 22 shot attempts, Rose put up one of his best box scores of the entire season in a 107-99 loss to the Atlanta Hawks on Jan. 17 at the United Center.

Even in an 8-for-22 shooting night, Rose still scored 23 points, dished out a season-high (at the time) 10 assists and grabbed eight rebounds in the eight-poss loss to the East-leading Hawks.

In a meeting against Jeff Teague, one of the league’s premier floor generals, Rose proved that he was definitely on his way back to superstardom.
