Reports had been swirling all week about the relationship between Bulls head coach Tom Thibodeau and the upper management in Chicago, specifically Gar Forman and John Paxson.

Some reports even mentioned Thibodeau being fired before the current season concluded.

Despite the so-called dysfunction behind the scenes in Chicago, Rose made people forget about the rumors rather quickly in a national television meeting with the San Antonio Spurs on Jan. 22 in Chicago.

Rose had his coach’s and his team’s back with a 22-point, five-assist performance in a 104-81 victory over the defending champs.
