The Chicago Bears have faced several great quarterbacks over the years, as the NFC North has been home to its fair share of successful signal callers.

One former thorn in the side of the Bears still has his mind set on Chicago, even though he moved on to the AFC years ago. During an appearance at an event hosted by rapper Mike Stud, All-Pro free agent Aaron Rodgers offered a hint as to where he could ultimately land while answering a question concerning whether he would ever consider joining the Bears.

"No, but I believe there's a team that might play in Chicago this year on a road trip," Rodgers said, via Bobby Kownack of NFL.com. "I don't know, not sure. Got to check it out. I love Chicago, though. Way more than they love me. It's been a great relationship. All one way."

While he didn't outright say it, Rodgers is referencing the Pittsburgh Steelers with this answer, as the Black and Gold are scheduled to visit Soldier Field during Week 12. Rodgers and the Steelers have been linked for quite some time, with Pittsburgh's head coach, Mike Tomlin, recently stating that there was no deadline being placed on Rodgers to make a decision.

"Not to my knowledge," Tomlin said, via Brooke Pryor of ESPN. "I don't know that we've approached it from a deadline perspective. Certainly, as I mentioned, you'd like to have settled circumstances, but deadlines don't often bring that to a head."

Should Rodgers choose to sign with the Steelers and travel to the Windy City to face the Bears in Week 12, Chicago fans would relish the opportunity to send their longtime nemesis packing with one final L.

Ultimately, Rodgers' future in the NFL should not be a concern for Bears fans. Chicago is in a position where its future is bright, with one of the brightest offensive minds in the game calling the shots on the sidelines and a plethora of new weapons for Caleb Williams to distribute the ball to.

The Bears have bigger fish to fry than Rodgers at this stage of his career.
