The Chicago Bulls have been deliberate in their decisions this offseason as they take the first steps to a rebuild. So far, the Bulls have traded Alex Caruson and DeMar DeRozan and didn’t re-sign veteran center Andre Drummond to start free agency.

The next step on their offseason wishlist is trying to trade All-Star guard Zach LaVine, which is easier said than done, given his contract and undergoing season-ending foot surgery this past season.

The 29-year-old LaVine has seen his name pop up in various trade rumors this offseason and during the regular season. However, nothing has come to fruition yet for the Bulls, which means there’s a chance LaVine might be staying in the Windy City.

If that were to happen, the Bulls players wouldn’t have any issue with LaVine staying, but things between him and the front office aren’t in a great spot.

With all that being said, LaVine dropped an interesting post on social media amidst all the trade rumors and conjecture, which shows where his mind is at.

Based on this tweet from the veteran guard, it’s clear that he’s not paying attention to the noise and focusing on his craft. To no one’s surprise, fans commented on LaVine’s tweet, saying he should join the Clippers, Golden State, etc.

This past season, LaVine scored 19.5 points per game on 45.2 percent shooting from the field and 34.9 percent from three-point range. He also added 5.2 rebounds and 3.9 assists per game (25 games).

It wasn’t one of LaVine’s best statistical seasons because of the foot injury, but when healthy, he’s an All-Star caliber guard and could help the Bulls or a contending team next season.
