The excitement surrounding the Chicago Bears is through the roof with the 2024 season set to kick off in September.

General manager Ryan Poles did an exceptional job adding talent to the roster, which was headlined by the No. 1 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft.

Chicago selected USC's Caleb Williams with that selection and the fanbase feels like they finally got their franchise quarterback.

Williams has all the talent in the world but future Hall-of-Fame quarterback Tom Brady gave him the brutal honestly ahead of his rookie campaign.

Bears News: Tom Brady Gives Caleb Williams a Clear Warning

Williams and a few other rookies sat down with Tom Brady, Jay-Z, and Michael Rubin to get some advice from extremely successful men.

All the knowledge given to these players was well noted but was certainly eye-opening.

Brady's words certainly hold more weight for these rookies as they watched him win seven Super Bowl titles. He expressed to the rookies why he thinks young players don't succeed in the league.

Brady said, "When you have 53 guys on a team and you think it's about you, it ain't about you. It's about us. The biggest problem I see with a lot of the young players today, you guys are making it too much about I and me because of social media, cause of branding, and all that. It's fine you're not gonna win."

During the pre-draft process, there were some criticisms regarding Williams having such superstar treatment before stepping into the league.

While attending USC, Williams made approximately $10 million in NIL deals. He was basically a lock to go No. 1 overall following the 2022 campaign and has always been in the limelight.

With that being said, all that stuff is in the past and Williams needs to start over. The NFL is a completely different beast and if players don't adopt the team mentality that Brady is talking about then things will be that more difficult.

Williams has a long road ahead of him but hopefully, he took Brady's advice to heart and applies it to his everyday process.
