As we can finally put a lid on NFL Draft weekend, the Chicago Bears were one of the biggest winners as they brought in two marquee difference-makers on the offensive side.

With the first overall selection, the Bears nabbed USC's Caleb Williams before they selected Washington's Rome Odunze shortly after at the ninth spot.

These two offensive forces will be in the Windy City as the Bears look to turn around the franchise. Just days after being drafted, Odunze is already buying into the rivalry with the Green Bay Packers.

Bears News: Rome Odunze Is Already Fitting in With the Bears

Odunze was asked how his first day hating the Packers went and he gave the perfect response.

He said, "I already can't stand them. Every time I see green, I nearly puke."

This is one of the longest rivalries in the history of the league, dating back to 1921. In recent memory, the Packers have dominated this matchup. Green Bay has won 15 of the last 16 games against Chicago.

The Bears' last win against the cheeseheads came in 2018, where they won 24-17. Since then, it's been an uphill climb.

Odunze knows how much the Bears despise the Packers and he's already feeding into it. It's been a rough stretch of games against Green Bay but they are looking to turn things around in 2024.

The addition of Odunze will certainly help as they look to contend for the NFC North crown. According to FanDuel Sportsbook, the Bears have the third-best odds at +370 to win the division. Head over there now to lock these odds in!
