Possible Michael Jordan Sighting in Chicago Coming Friday Night
By Thomas Erbe
The Chicago Bulls announced that this Friday night, they will be debuting the franchise's Ring of Honor. The Bulls already have retired numbers displayed in the rafters, but they now have a way to honor other important figures in franchise history.
The inaugural class is absolutely stacked, and there will be a star-studded ceremony during halftime of the Bulls game against the Golden State Warriors. While it will be great to see Phil Jackson, Dennis Rodman, Scottie Pippen, and the other enshrinements in attendance, there is really only one thing we have to know.
Will Michael be there?
We could have a rare Michael Jordan appearance in Chicago on Friday
Since his time with the Bulls came to an end, Michael Jordan has kept busy. We know he has his Jordan brand and golf course. He has gotten big into deep sea fishing. He started a NASCAR team. The man is everywhere -- except Chicago.
He keeps his appearances rare and brief here. He knows he is a god among men to the city, whether he is here or not. Because of this, it is always special when it's even just possible he comes to town.
The last time we publicly saw him here was at the 2020 NBA All-Star game when the All-75 team was recognized, obviously with MJ at the top spot.
Now, he is being honored again in Chicago. It'd be hard to believe the Bulls would go through with something like this without confirming what day Jordan would be available to attend. Even with how big the names being honored are, this whole thing truly revolves around one man: His Airness.
