The Chicago Bears had a very up-and-down season in 2023. There were moments of excitement for this young roster which were followed by moments of gloom.

Despite finishing the year 7-10, there are a few players who have flashed for Chicago and should get some recognition. We'll list three underrated Bears during the 2023-24 season.

1. T.J. Edwards

Linebacker T.J. Edwards came over to the Windy City during the offseason. Edwards was previously on the Philadelphia Eagles before he was plucked in March. He signed a 3-year deal for $19.5 million with $7.5 million guaranteed.

The Wisconsin product is a very instinctive and disciplined defender in the middle of the field for this club. Edwards has a knack for shedding blocks and bringing down ball carriers. The 27-year-old finished the year ranked seventh in the league in total tackles (155).

This was his third straight season recording 130-plus tackles. In addition, Edwards racked up double-digit stops in eight games during the 2023 season.

The fifth-year linebacker was a force Bears fans consistently saw flying all over the field making plays.
