The Chicago Bulls enter the 2024-25 offseason with a roster in a full state of flux. It seems like all options are on the table for this struggling Easter Conference squad as it looks to return to contention.

With so much uncertainty, that paves the way for some major changes. And the latest rumors hint at potential moves to come in Chicago.

Matt Moore of the Action Network provided two Bulls nuggets in his latest column. First, Moore notes Chicago is among the teams that's "expressed [trade] interest" in current Atlanta Hawks center Clint Capela. The insider adds the Memphis Grizzlies, Washington Wizards and New Orleans Pelicans also are in the running as the offseason kicks into overdrive.

Additionally, Moore says the Sacramento Kings are back on the trade market looking to exchange a package of Harrison Barnes, Kevin Huerter and draft picks for a high-impact player. Moore mentions the Kings are "known to have had calls with Chicago involving Zach LaVine and Alex Caruso."

Moore's reporting seems to align with the other buzz around the team currently. One recent rumor linked Chicago to top big man prospect Donovan Clingan, and with the reveal Capela is another target, it's clear the Bulls are seeking a big center acquisition in some way this offseason.

This also builds on the momentum behind a potential LaVine and/or Caruso deal this summer. The former is the Bull on the most shaky footing at the moment, but the latter's receiving plenty of trade interest around the league as well with Chicago possibly headed for a full rebuild.

Considering the Bulls' directionless state, a reset that involves trading valuable players for young assets and draft picks could very well be in the cards. However, Chicago seemingly sniffing around Capela -- who's more of a win-now piece -- indicates management isn't totally set on all-out tanking in 2024-25 just yet.

It remains to be seen if this is just smoke, or the beginnings of a true fire sale at the United Center.
