We are exactly a month away from the start of the new NFL season and Bears fans are as optimistic about their team as they have been in a long time. Bolstered by the star rookie additions of Caleb Williams and Rome Odunze, as well as offseason signings of Keenan Allen and D'Andre Swift, the Bears have their eyes on their first winning season since 2018 and their first postseason appearance since 2020.

Even though head coach Matt Eberflus and the Bears are getting ready for their three preseason games followed by their Week 1 opponent, the Tennessee Titans, the fans are counting down the weeks until they play their NFC North archrivals, the Packers. Chicago is set to face Green Bay in Week 11 and Week 18 but the Packers QB Jordan Love already added fuel to the rivalry with his latest remarks.

Jordan Love Throws Massive Shade at the Chicago Bears

In an interview with Kay Adams, the 25-year-old quarterback said his favorite rivalry in the league is with the Bears. When Adams calls it "not really a rivalry right now", Love smiles and agrees.

To be fair to Love, he is unfortunately not entirely wrong. The Packers have won ten straight, and 15 out of the last 16 games against the Bears.

However, the Bears are in a much better situation to take down the Packers than they have been in a long time. Even though Green Bay had a surprise season last year, winning nine games and making it to the Divisional Round, they are not more talented than the Bears as a roster. With its offseason additions and deep roster, Chicago has as good of a chance of making the postseason out of the NFC North as anybody.

On FanDuel Sportsbook, the Packers are +200 to win the division while the Bears stand at +330, with the Detroit Lions being the favorites right now at +130.
