The Chicago Bears were unable to end the Green Bay Packers' season in their final game of the 2023-24 season, but the Pack will still be watching the Super Bowl at home like the rest of us. After an impressive showing in Dallas against the Cowboys on Wild Card Weekend, the Packers lost a nailbiter to the San Francisco 49ers in the Divisional Round. Kicker Anders Carlson missed a key field goal late and quarterback Jordan Love's second interception of the night sealed the deal.

After the game, 49ers tight end George Kittle spoke to the media and acknowledged another fan base in the Midwest that was particularly happy the team pulled out the victory.

Kittle happy to help the Bears after beating the Packers.

Before ending his media session after the game, Kittle told reporters he grew up a Bears fan and he's "happy to help" them by beating the Packers. He even ended everything with a nice "Da Bears." This is the third time in Kittle's seven-year career he and San Francisco have knocked the Packers out of the playoffs.

The Bears have barely been able to beat the Packers in the last two decades plus. They have only won 14 of the last 60 meetings. But it's nice the fans have had Kittle and the 49ers able to take care of the business It's even nicer knowing that Kittle is a Bear at heart and still finds a way to help his former favorite team.

We thank you for your service, George.
